Want more romance in your life?
Young couples who are in those early days of their relationship seem so happy and carefree. They are so “in love” that they can see no wrong in their sweetheart. Love has blinded them to any flaws. Love comes so easily. Theirs is a simple, fresh love. They have not yet become bogged down with the day to day cares of life. Their live is all about their love. They can’t wait to see each other and spend time together. They are always planning things to do together and ways to please each other.
And therein lies the secret to keeping the passion in your marriage for years to come. It’s all in the purposeful planning. Proverbs 12:22 states, “Those who plan what is good find love and faithfulness.”
It is February 1, and soon will be Valentine’s Day. But why wait until the 14th. Why not surprise your spouse and “plan” something special each day for the next 14 days. It doesn’t have to be expensive or time consuming. Just do a little something extra to make your spouse know that you still are head over heels in love. And by the way, you are never too old to make your spouse feel loved and respected.
Here are some ideas if you need some motivation:
You know what pleases your spouse so get busy right now and surprise them with something special for tonight. You never know where it will lead.
